We are seeking a Front of House Waiter/Waitress to join our team. As a team member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our guests. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service at the front end of the establishment
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision
- Maintain a clean and organised front end area, including checkout lanes and surrounding areas
- Assist customers with any inquiries or issues they may have
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
- Run food and drinks from the kitchen and bar to the customer
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in a restaurant, catering, or hospitality setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation and handling procedures is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
