Front of House Staff

Mimi's Bakehouse is a family run chain of Cafe's based in Edinburgh. Our motto is 'it's all about the cake' and while this remains true we also believe 'it's all about our team'. We are looking for good people to join our team at the newest addition to our family at the busy City Art Centre store.

We need someone who can deliver outstanding customer service in our busy Cafe on Market Street, a great location right in the city centre. We are a day business so there would be no late nights or evening working.

We’re looking for individuals who have a passion for customer service, strong communication skills, a friendly attitude towards both colleagues and customers and has a love for Coffee & Cake!

Part-time hours available. You must be able to start ASAP and willing to work weekends.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED:
- Greeting customers with a warm welcome in true Mimi’s style
- Being proactive in your work
- Working in a team to provide an enjoyable experience for customers and fellow colleagues
- Informing customers of the specials we have on offer and informing them on what they might enjoy
- Having good knowledge of our menu
- Being openminded and always looking for ways in which we could improve our customer service
- Use of our POS system & receiving and processing payments
- Understanding of food hygiene and applying it to your daily routine at work
- Basic understanding of coffee and experience using a coffee machine
- Being able to follow standard cleaning practices to ensure the store is kept in immaculate condition.
