Overview:
We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess excellent organisational skills and be proficient in office tasks. This position offers an opportunity to be the first point of contact for our company and provide exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests with a professional and friendly demeanour ensuring that they are offered refreshments upon arrival and during meetings
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person in a timely manner
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
- Ensure reception, boardroom and kitchen areas are tidy and presentable, ensuring a clean, well-stocked, organised and welcoming environment
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as assisting the team with boardroom bookings and the conference facilities, electronic filing, photocopying, scanning and other ad hoc duties
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or client facing role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and MS TEAMS
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., printers)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organisational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Familiarity with Google Suite for efficient document management
- Data entry skills for maintaining records accurately
- Strong clerical abilities for administrative support
- Phone etiquette for professional communication
