Job description

We are seeking an individual who is organised, motivated and has a very high level of attention to detail. This role requires the individual to work efficiently and effectively whilst also communicating with other members of staff and being able to work independently throughout the day.

Working as part of the fulfilment team to ensure orders get dispatched on time daily as well as preparing and packing future orders. Ensuring procedures are followed in an efficient and effective way from receiving inbound shipments, unboxing the shipment, prepping the products, and storing them. The role will require a high level of flexibility as the business is adapting to the current climate to support its current growth. In this position, individuals will have the chance to nurture essentials skills and gain a comprehensive understanding across all facets of the Fulfilment Operations.

Main Duties:

· Work in partnership with the operations manager to ensure daily collections are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

· Certifying stock is received, prepared, and stored accurately while reporting to the Operations Manager with any defects.

· Ensuring the workplace is clean and adheres to the strict housekeeping standards.

· Carry out the relevant start up and close down procedures on a daily bias.

· Follow standard operations procedures to ensure operations run efficiently and effectively throughout the day.

· Flexibility to work in all areas of Fulfilment Operations.

· Break cover will be necessary to ensure the inbound and outbound shipments are completed.

· Ensuring warehouse supplies are always in stock and placing re-orders when necessary.

Responsibilities:

· Opening the warehouse following standard operations.

· Constructing outbound boxes for daily collection.

· Accurately following the fulfilment list for the daily collections.

· Precisely picking and packing the daily collections to ensure stock leaves the warehouse safely.

· Receiving and unboxing daily deliveries ensuring the correct quantity and quality is met to Flawless Organics’ standards.

· Prepping products to a high standard guaranteeing the customer is to receive perfect beauty products.

· Storing products efficiently and effectively to prevent damages.

· Capability of lifting up to 20kg as well as standing for long periods of time.

· Closing the warehouse following standard operations.

· To lead by example when it comes to Health & Safety policy, wearing company uniform and appropriate PPE when required.

· To demonstrate proactive decisions making and clear communication skills.

Attention to Detail: Must pay close attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of orders. This involves correctly identifying items, quantities, and packaging requirements. Attention to detail also extends to checking for damaged or defective on inbound items.

Time Management: Effective time management is crucial for Fulfilment Operations personnel to meet daily order fulfilment targets. They must prioritise tasks, work efficiently, and organise their workflow to ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped within designated timeframes. Failure to manage time effectively can lead to delays in order processing and shipment, impacting customer satisfaction.

Organisational Skills: Need strong organisational skills to maintain an orderly and efficient warehouse environment. This includes properly storing and categorising inventory, optimising shelf space, and accurately labelling items for easy identification. Organisational skills also extend to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the warehouse to prevent accidents and ensure a smooth workflow.

Physical Stamina: This role is physically demanding, requiring individuals to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks. Physical stamina is essential to handle the demands of the job safely and effectively.

Teamwork: Effective teamwork is essential for coordinating order fulfilment activities, sharing workload, and supporting colleagues during peak periods. Communication, cooperation, and a willingness to help others are key aspects of successful teamwork in this role.

Communication: Clear communication is vital to understand order requirements, coordinate with colleagues, and report any issues or discrepancies. They must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of problems.

Critical thinking, resourcefulness, and attention to detail are key components of effective problem-solving in this role.

Safety Awareness: Safety is paramount in warehouse environments where you are exposed to potential hazards such as heavy machinery, moving equipment, and elevated work areas. Safety awareness involves following established protocols, using personal protective equipment (PPE), and staying vigilant to prevent accidents or injuries. Regular safety training, hazard assessments, and reporting mechanisms contribute to a culture of safety and well-being in the workplace.
