Full Stack Developer – London (Hybrid) - £80,000 to £90,000 per year + Bonus
FryerMiles are delighted to be working with an international, listed, consumer goods business to support with the recruitment of a Full Stack Developer to join their team based in London.
The successful candidate will work with the development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions.
Main roles and responsibilities.
•
Design server-side architecture
•
Develop necessary APIs for the front-end applications
•
Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
•
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
•
Create security and data protection settings
•
Write technical documentation
•
Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software
•
Write automated tests
Core Skills & Experience
•
Programming RESTful APIs, GraphQL and gRPC using Javascript on NodeJS
•
Databases esp. MySQL and web servers like Nginx
•
ORMs like Sequelize
•
AWS systems like EC2, RDS, S3, ELB, VPC, VPN, Gateways and IAM
•
React, HTML, CSS
•
Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines like Github actions.
•
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
•
Work experience in a fast-paced and collaborative international environment
•
Analytical mind
•
Over 5 years of proven development track record
Other Relevant Skills & Experience
•
Programming using Typescript and Python
•
PostgreSQL and document databases
•
IoT systems and MQTT
•
React Native
•
Operational knowledge of OSes like Linux and containerisation via Docker
•
Other cloud platforms like GCP and Azure
