Full Stack Developer

Fullstack Developer - Java 11+ - React - Edinburgh - 6 month contract outside IR35

Are you a skilled Full Stack Java Developer with a passion for public sector projects? I have an immediate contract role for an Edinburgh based public sector body where you can make a real impact!

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust Java applications using Java 11.
• Work with JavaScript frameworks such as React for front-end development.
• Design and implement REST APIs.
• Apply Agile methodologies, TDD, and pair programming practices.
• Implement human-centred, research-driven, and inclusive design practices.
• Leverage AWS services including Lambda, S3, and CloudFormation.
• Adopt DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Java Developer.
• Strong public sector background would be preferred
• Familiarity with GDS and Digital First frameworks is expected
• Proficient in Java 11, JavaScript Framework e.g. React, Fronte End Technology and REST API development.
• Experienced with AWS services and DevOps practices would be an advantage.
