As we continue to grow and explore opportunities with Medium-sized enterprises and the NHS, we're seeking a Web Application Developer to join our team.
Key role responsibilities:
- Write object-oriented code in PHP and JavaScript.
- Design application architecture and reusable components.
- Maintain and troubleshoot bugs in existing projects.
- Thoroughly test new features for desktop and mobile functionality.
- Review and refactor colleagues' code, ensuring documentation for seamless collaboration. Re-word
- Build and test Application Program Interfaces (APIs) for data exchange.
- Evaluate code for adherence to industry standards (PSR-2).
- Manage client requirements, create project outlines, and estimate project costs and timelines.
- Ability to translate client needs into commercial solutions with a user-centric approach.
Experience:
- Previously worked or been involved with Laravel 6+ PHP framework.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Vue.js Framework, CSS3, and/or SASS.
- GIT version control, branching, and versioning expertise.
- Database experience (MySQL) in designing and building.
- Understanding of web application architecture, security, and encryption.
- Expertise in development methodologies (preferably Agile).
Location: Chandlers Ford, Hampshire – office based.
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000k per annum, plus bonus which is discretionary and based on company performance.
Contract type: Full-time, permanent
25 days annual leave plus Bank holidays.
