Full Stack Developer

Our client is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join their succesful team.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will build and maintain our hosting platform's user interface. Utilising PHP for backend functionalities and Vue.js for frontend components.

You will work with content management systems and ensure that design and user experience are aligned, optimising web pages for maximum effectiveness and maintaining brand consistency.

Your primary responsibility will involve contributing to our hosting platform, which is tailored to meet our client's needs and offers a seamless and intuitive user experience for their daily operations.

You will play a crucial role in enhancing the user experience by implementing essential features and tools that empower our clients to manage their websites and servers efficiently through our hosting platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality code throughout the application lifecycle.

  • Implement new features using industry best coding practices.

  • Address and resolve platform bugs promptly.

  • Conduct code reviews, offering constructive feedback to team members.

  • Deploy staging environments as required.

  • Continuously enhance skills and stay updated with evolving technologies.

  • Ensure thorough browser testing before handing it over to QA.

  • Propose and implement automation and process improvements.

  • Contribute to team enhancement initiatives where feasible.

  • Advocate for platform features, proposing updates and bug solutions.

  • Planned and scheduled feature updates and bug fixes, coordinating with the QA Analyst and other stakeholders.

  • Manage features from conception to release, including bug resolution and subsequent fixes.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in PHP web development, including full-stack development.

  • Strong knowledge of PHP programming language and frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony.

  • Good understanding of front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

  • Experience working with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

  • Knowledge of database management and development, ideally MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

  • Understanding software development principles such as object-oriented programming (OOP), Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture, and RESTful web services.

  • Familiarity with Git version control and code repository management.

  • Knowledge of server-side technologies such as Apache or Nginx.

  • Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
