Full Time Breakfast Chef

Are you an industry chef who no longer wants to work 60 hour weeks in the evenings?, or looking for a First position in charge of your own kitchen.

Maybe we are the answer as we have an opening for a Breakfast Chef to join the team at The Kitchen on Pelham street, one of our successful group of city centre cafes.

You will be developing our menu options. preparing and cooking our delicious breakfast and brunch menu, and also preparing various sandwich fillings, and fresh salads.

We only have a small team, so it is very important you have a positive, happy approach, and can work under pressure.

You must be reliable, hardworking, honest, and have a passion for cooking and food preparation.

Hours:

We are looking for someone to work five shifts a week, from Thursday through until Monday

Shifts start at 8.30 (9.00 on a Sunday) and run though until 3.30

Skills we are looking for:

• Able to prepare good quality food from scratch
• Able to deliver consistently high standard food
• Be organised, and able to follow the daily routines we have
• Be able to manage stock rotation,
• Know food safety regulations and make sure you are compliant

Experience:

• You should have previously worked in a commercial kitchen, and you must be able to demonstrate your cooking abilities.
