Full Time Server

The Italian Kitchen restaurant in Merchant City Glasgow if looking for a Full time outstanding individual, who can provide consistently exceptional levels of service and is an excellent team player. You should be well organised, flexible and be extremely customer friendly. The job is Full time and permanent and for approximately 35 - 40 hours per week. You must be fully available and flexible and you must have availability most weekends. We are looking for someone with at least 2 years experience in a similar role. Duties:

- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions about the menu
- Upsell additional items, such as appetizers, desserts, or specialty drinks
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in with guests throughout their meal
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
- Clean and reset tables for the next guests
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and delivery

Experience:

- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
- Knowledge of basic math skills for handling payments
- Familiarity with food preparation and culinary terminology is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional guest service
