Job Title:Fullstack Java Developer

Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands.

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000.

Applause IT are recruiting for a Fullstack Java Developer for a leading company in the engineering sector. Their IT division is ever-expanding, and each of their team members contributes a unique set of skills to meticulously design, implement, and support their IT infrastructure, applications, and services catalogue.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organisation, and automatisation.

Skills Required:

• Proven experience as a Java Developer. (at least five years experience commercially)
• Strong knowledge of Java and its ecosystems.
• Experience with popular frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.
• Strong database design and SQL skills.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. (Angular and React are preferable).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
