We are currently seeking dedicated and empathetic individuals to join our client's team as Disability Functional Assessors in the UK.
As a Disability Functional Assessor, you will play a crucial role in assessing individuals to determine their eligibility for disability benefits. Your primary responsibility will be conducting face-to-face assessments over MSTeams or in person, evaluating their daily living activities and mobility. This role offers a unique opportunity to use your medical, nursing and analytical skills to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting thorough face-to-face assessments with individuals to gather accurate information about their medical conditions and functional abilities
* Utilizing your medical knowledge to assess the impact of disabilities on their daily living activities and mobility
* Writing/Typing comprehensive and evidence-based reports to assist in determining their eligibility for disability benefits
* Collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare professionals and experts to ensure accurate assessments
* Providing excellent customer service and demonstrating empathy and sensitivity towards individuals with disabilities
Requirements:
* Qualified healthcare professional - RGN, RMN or RNLD
* Be registered with the NMC and have an active pin OR have an active HCPC registration in the UK
* Confident with IT i.e Typing at least 25 words per minute and using MSTeams
* Applicant MUST be based in the UK. Unfortunately overseas applications will be rejected
