Job Description
Work with Senior Managers to prepare and implement policies and projects to attract external investment
- Identify opportunities aligned with an organisation connected with Angus Council and Community Planning Partnership objectives and outcomes and co-ordinate the development of project proposals and funding applications (eg from Lottery, EU, Crowdfunding, Heritage, Trust funds etc).
- Liaise with funders in order to maximise funding opportunities for us- participating in networks and funding groups as required.
- Work with partners to proactively communicate funding opportunities and participate in the implementation of a communication plan to promote opportunities.
- Support our staff and partner organisations in applying for funding and grant opportunities.
- Research and track new funding opportunities and lead on dissemination of information via social media channels.
- Input to performance indicators and financial systems to monitor project progress.
- Lead the promotion, coordination and processing of all funding applications to various bodies producing reports, monitoring budgets and reviewing processes as required and making recommendations for change.
The Successful Applicant
A candidate with a Fund Co-ordinator writing or similar background.
