Total OTE: £38K

CV Screen are currently recruiting for a talented Funding and Employability Specialist to join a well-established specialist college for young people with learning disabilities and difficulties based in Chesterfield. A salary of up to 38,000 is offered dependent on experience. The role will require you to be in the office 4 days per week with 1 home working day available.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in Conducting thorough research on potential funding opportunities, grants, and tenders relevant to our clients’ goals and missions. There may be a requirement to travel to a range of different sites so therefore a driving license would be ideal. Mileage and expenses are provided for travel during the working day.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct thorough research on potential funding opportunities, grants, and tenders.
• Analyse and understand the specific requirements and criteria of each funding opportunity.
• You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including academic departments and support services, to gather information and insights necessary for proposal development.
• Ensure all proposals comply with the guidelines and requirements of funding opportunities.
• Conduct thorough quality checks to maintain high standards in written materials.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with funding agencies, donors, and relevant stakeholders.
• Attend networking events and conferences to stay informed about funding trends and opportunities.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Proven experience in bid writing, proposal development, or grant writing.
• You will need the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Degree in relevant field or other equivalent qualification is desirable.
• Any Familiarity with funding landscape in the education sector would be preferrable.

SALARY & BENEFITS:

• OTE: £38,000
• 1 day hybrid working per week.

• 30 days holiday plus bank holidays - addition of 1 extra day’s holiday after your third anniversary, up to a maximum of 5 additional days.

LOCATION:

The role is based in Chesterfield with excellent commutability from nearby towns such as Rotherham, Bakewell, and Mansfield.
