Fundraising Administrator
Hours: Part time (21 hours - flexible on days)
Job type: Temporary contract
Pay: £12/hour
Start date: Monday 4th March
Duration: Approx. 8 weeks
We work closely together with a fabulous charity in York and are looking for a temporary Fundraising Administrator to help support the Fundraising team. The purpose of this booking is to be the main contact for general fundraising correspondence and enquiries via email and telephone.
The Fundraising Administrator will also be:
- Signposting to fundraising team members and dealing directly with supporters.
- Processing and uploading donations to the Fundraising database
- Monitoring event sponsorship pages
- Helping to register participants, responding to queries & sending out packs
- Maintain the Fundraising SharePoint filing systems, creating a library of folders working with the whole team to establish a usable format.
- Supporting all members of the Fundraising team with administrative tasks especially in times of absence.
Training for all fundraising systems will be provided (some of this training may need to take place via TEAMs)
It is essential that you are an experienced administrator with strong organisational skills, financial awareness/acumen.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent IT skills particularly Excel, Word and ideally Sharepoint.
- Must be able to answer and make phone calls.
- Experience of working with databases, data processing and knowledge of GDPR would be brilliant but not essential.
