The Organisation
Our client is a UK charity providing support and information to people living with neurodegenerative conditions. These rapidly progressing neurological conditions are caused by the premature loss of nerve cells in certain parts of the brain, and like many other chronic conditions, there is currently no cure. However, many of the symptoms can be managed, and our client’s mission is to provide everyone affected with neurodegenerative conditions with information and support to enable them to lead the best possible life they can.
Raising awareness of these conditions amongst health and social care professionals, they also fund research into diagnosis and treatments, relying almost entirely on voluntary donations.
Our client is now looking for a Fundraising Co-ordinator to join them on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role
As a Fundraising Co-ordinator, you will support the growth of our client’s fundraising initiatives.
Contributing to the development of a range of events and fundraising initiatives, you’ll steward volunteers and groups such as schools and small businesses and identify potential new income streams.
You’ll support our client’s presence at large events and develop their community events, assisting with recruiting individuals and organisations.
Your role will also involve:
- Fundraising administration
- Developing good stewardship across all fundraising income streams
- Building a network of donors
- Responding to fundraising queries
About You
To be considered as a Fundraising Co-ordinator, you will need:
- Experience and knowledge of fundraising
- The ability to collate financial information
- Strong organisational skills
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in IT, including word processing, spreadsheets and creating promotional content
Please note, the willingness to travel within the UK is essential and occasional weekend work may be required for which Time off in Lieu will be given.
