We are looking for someone to join a genuinely, lovely team of people at the award-winning Hawk Conservancy Trust in an exciting and varied role as Fundraising Manager, as we embark on a journey to increase fundraising income to support our charitable mission – the conservation of Birds of Prey and their habitats.
Are you interested in your new workplace being nestled within 22 acres of woodland and wildflower meadow, with over 130 beautiful birds of prey, from eagles to owls, also sharing that space?
The Trust is a home to an award-winning visitor centre, and is both a centre of excellence for learning about birds of prey, habitats, ecology and conservation, and also having an inspirational day out. Many of our birds are involved in the spectacular educational daily flying demonstrations, whilst others are part of important breeding projects.
The Trust has its own conservation, research and education department who do vital work to conserve birds of prey, some of which are declining at an alarming rate. It is the proud operator of the National Bird of Prey HospitalTM, which can treat, rehabilitate and release over 200 birds of prey.
If you think joining a passionate, friendly, fun and hard-working team of people to help excite, engage and inspire others to grow our income and support our mission, is for you, please send a copy of your CV with a cover letter telling us why you think this job should be yours, highlighting the necessary skills and experience you have!
