British Heart Foundation (BHF) is on a mission to conquer heart and circulatory diseases, conditions that will affect more than half of us in our lifetime. We need vital funds to support our life-saving research, which is why we have ambitious growth plans for community fundraising and regional partnerships, recruiting for several Fundraising Managers across the UK. 

What is the role? 
You'll be at the heart of your local community, using your proven expertise to bring our cause to life. Building and developing supporter networks with individuals, organisations, community groups, and high value prospects. You’ll create fundraising opportunities and raise awareness of the BHF in your area, whilst you skilfully manage supporters to achieve financial targets. 
Who are we looking for? 

Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building relationships with diverse audiences to achieve financial objectives as well as a strong desire to exceed KPIs and targets. You'll have an inquisitive, data-driven approach capable of providing insight and analysis to generate opportunities. 
With excellent communication skills, you can inspire and motivate supporters while also providing excellent stewardship. You have strong problem solving, organisational and planning skills, able to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment and have experience of manging budgets and risk mitigation.

Working arrangements

  • This is a field-based role covering Kent . You will need to live in Kent or  you must be able to relocate to this region.
  • Regular travel within the area, and occasionally to other parts of the UK.
  • You must have a full UK driving licence at the time of application with access to your own vehicle.
  • There will be a requirement for flexible out of hours working to support occasional evening and weekend activity. You will be compensated for this with time off in lieu.
