The role:
Reporting to the Airspace Change Programme Manager, you will oversee the planning and execution of various Future Airspace Projects, ensuring their successful delivery. Your pivotal role involves facilitating the airspace change process in accordance with CAP1616, mandated by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to fulfil the objectives outlined in the CAA’s Airspace Modernisation Strategy.
As the Senior Project Manager, you will maintain relationships with external contractors and service providers on behalf of MAG, ensuring adherence to established timelines and quality standards. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with the Airspace Change Organisation Group (ACOG) to synchronise airspace change requirements across UK airports, providing invaluable guidance to ensure coordination of individual airport flight path designs.
What will make you successful in the role?
To be successful in this role, you will have the ability to build and manage good working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. In conjunction, you will have a proven track record of planning and delivering successful projects (within airspace change is preferable).
You must be enthusiastic, adaptable, and innovative capable of introducing fresh perspectives to the team while fostering collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
An APM/RICS/CIOB/ICE membership is desirable.
