Game Mathematician

Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in London and is open to some remote work (1-2 days WFH). As a member of the Games Design Team, your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the design and development of new gaming content. In addition to contributing to the initial concept, you will be expected to produce software simulation and math model to evaluate and evolve the concept with other members of the design team.
Job Description
• Contribute to the initial concept design of igaming games.
• Produce software simulation and/or spreadsheet math model of concepts.
• Develop and proof math models for games that demonstrate game probabilities and return to player via theoretical calculation and/or simulation.
• Code, test, and debug simulations of games to gather statistics and verify the accuracy of math models.
• Collaborate with software engineers and QA test engineers to ensure math models are properly implemented and compliant with applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with other mathematicians and game designers to brainstorm new game mechanics and to determine the mathematical feasibility of concept math models.
• Develop an understanding of competitive products and technologies.
The Successful Applicant
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial, or a related discipline
• A grade in A-level Maths
• Software development skills, ideally within C++ but can be C# or related
• Spreadsheet math modelling
• Enthusiasm for gaming products
• Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Fresh graduate are welcome
