Job Description:
As a Game QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of specific areas of the game, managing risk assessments and mitigation, guaranteeing effective test coverage, and maintaining bug tracking and quality for assigned areas.
In this role you will report directly to our QA Producer and collaborate directly as part of the development team. You will work closely with the other members of the QA department to ensure that the studio has effective coverage and a high quality of feedback throughout all its projects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the QA Producer, and development team, to ensure that the products that Avantao Technologies produces are to the highest quality
- Ensure that we are providing the best user experience to our players by identifying bugs within the products
- Write detailed bug reports, including capturing appropriate footage, and providing high quality reproduction steps
- Work with the QA Producer to create new test cases for projects
- Alongside functional testing, you will run test cases to check against compliance requirements for the target platforms for the projects
- Provide input in the department’s workflow and approach to improve efficiency and accuracy
