We're on the lookout for a reliable, enthusiastic member of staff to join our friendly Garden Centre team on a temporary 6 month basis. If you have an interest in horticulture & houseplants, or are willing to learn within a happy environment this could be the perfect role for you!
We're looking for Full Time (40 hours) applicants includes every other weekend.
The role includes a range of customer facing & behind the scenes jobs such as:
- Working with plants (general care, watering and maintenance)
- Helping keep the Garden Centre clean, tidy and safe
- Heavy lifting required
- Helping customers with horticulture queries and requests
- Working at the tills serving customers
- Pricing and merchandising stock, ensuring great availability for our customers
- Assisting with stock control and replenishment
Experience within customer service is essential. Experience in a horticultural environment is preferable, however not essential. A positive attitude towards learning the role is much more important!
