Whitehall Garden Centre is a family run and award winning business. An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of an inspirational team as a Full Time Garden Shop Assistant at our Whitchurch Garden Centre.
The ideal candidate will ideally have a passion for customer service, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and great motivation are essential to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Working 4 days between Monday to Friday and alternate weekends.
Garden Shop Assistant responsibilities;
Ensuring all customers are greeted and offered assistance
Handling customer queries courteously and efficiently
Identifying customers Garden Shop needs through interaction, and taking appropriate action
Excellent standard of merchandising and housekeeping are established and maintained in accordance with company guidelines
All products are accurately priced and labelled in accordance with Company Policy
Maintains good control over stock levels, including stock clearance in agreement with the Garden Shop Manager
Ensure personal compliance with Whitehall’s H&S guideline
Maintains a harmonious and cooperative relationship with staff, managers and third parties
Ensures that stock is cared for appropriately
Provide assistance with regular stock take exercises as and when required
Carry out all reasonable duties as requested
