Overview

Gardener/ Caretaker

Location : Sheffield, South Yorkshire

About you:

We are looking for someone who has good customer service skills, you will be working as part of a team at times as well as your own. You will require a full UK driving licence as you will have access to a long-wheeled flatbed vehicle during working hours and a mobile device.

Some of the key duties involved are:

  • Grounds maintenance and gardening work
  • Cleaning internal communal areas
  • Litter picking
  • Bin store/ management
  • Using mechanical cleaning tools.
  • Representing Guinness on site to customers, colleagues & contractors.

You will also be able to demonstrate the following essential skills:

  • Proven professional experience of delivering grounds maintenance across a variety of sites and garden types.
  • Experience and knowledge of lawn, shrub, and plant care
  • Proven experience of achieving high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Ability to carry out physical tasks within Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Able to work effectively within a team.
  • Ability to use all equipment safely and effectively.
  • Ability to work effectively without high levels of supervision.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, including COSHH and PPE

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • previous gardening experience
  • Full clean UK driving licence.

Desirable:
* NVQ 2 or 3 in Horticulture or RHS/City & Guilds/HND or equivalent
* PA1, PA4b and PA6 NPTC Certificates.
