We are looking for an experienced grounds maintenance Team Leader to work for a well-established company delivering grounds maintenance services to private and public sector organisations across the royal borough of Kensington & Chelsea.

As a Grounds maintenance Team Leader, you will work as part of a small team to deliver high end grounds maintenance and horticultural services on behalf of my well-known client.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Driving a company van between locations
• Leading a team of GM operatives
• Flowerbed maintenance including weeding and planting.
• Grass and hedge cutting using petrol mowers and strimmer’s
• Leading a dedicated mobile team that will work in the Royal borough of Kensington & Chelsea area providing services to specific clients
• You will organise daily work schedules, also making sure all daily checks have been completed by the team on relevant plant and machinery.
• You will ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures are met and followed
• You will have excellent industry knowledge and be able to demonstrate this. It would be desirable that you have had experience in a similar role
• Responsibilities would include grass cutting, strimming, blowing, sports pitch marking, pruning, bedding, litter picking, weed control
• It is important that you can deal with the public and customers a like

Essential Skills/ Experience:

• Must have experience in horticulture.
• Experienced in leading teams
• Experience of driving 3.5 tonne vans
• A strong team player
• The skill to build good working relationships
• Reliable and excellent timekeeper
