Gardening Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Garden Associate to join the business owner. As a Garden Associate, you will be responsible for assisting with various garden-related tasks, including growing groundskeeping. This is a great opportunity for individuals who have a passion for gardening and enjoy working outdoors.

Duties:
- Assist with planting, watering, and caring for plants in the garden
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as pruning, weeding, and mulching
- Operate hand tools and power tools to maintain garden areas
- Help maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of garden structures and features
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of garden areas

Requirements:
- Previous experience or knowledge in gardening or groundskeeping is essential
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in garden maintenance
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and kneeling
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: £9.00-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

• Gardening: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
