The applicant will work as part of our in-house embroidery and printing team , to complete retail, internet and trade work wear ,school wear and sportswear garments.
Primary responsibilities:
· Preparing the garments for embroidery or printing by removing packaging, framing garments, changing thread colours and loading designs from computer to embroidery machine. Or using the on-site printing machinery
· Setting up and monitoring the embroidery process on the machines. Or printing garments with logos
· Finishing garments including steaming to remove any production marks and rebagging garments for dispatch to customers
· Performing regular machine and inventory inspections and reporting any issues
· Helping to ensure that the Embroidery /Print workroom is kept clean and tidy
· Any other reasonable duties which might be required by management
A successful applicant should have:
· Experience in Garment Printing or embroidery machines (Barudan) and/or design software (Wilcom) (Coral Draw)would be helpful but not essential as full training on our machines/software can be provided
· Very busy environment where a high attention to detail and concentration is needed .
· The ability to work as part of a team is essential
· Strong computer skills ; using/learning basic production software
· High Level verbal and written communication and organisational skills required
