This amazing business was launched over 35 years ago and growing at a rapid rate . They are now leaders in PPE, saving lives globally as a result. We are now seeking a hands on Quality Control Supervisor / Manager to join this dynamic business.
You must be ....
People person, strong interpersonal skills to work internally across different levels of seniority and externally with our international manufacturers and operations teams doing QC on our behalf
Attention to detail whether in physical QC work or in paperwork is essential
Record keeping and maintenance of key records for audit a key factor
scheduling and administration of weekly QC meetings and note taking for follow up
multi-tasking, time management and deadline driven
Ability to QC garments, review them critically and log comments (immediately or after training)
High level of drive, grit and determination important character wise
Microsoft Excel Skills and competence on PC’s and laptops key across all programmes (Outlook diary and email management experience advantageous)
Background in garment technology / garment Quality Control would be highly desirable but not essential.
Progression :
Project Based work supporting me on expanding the department, bringing in new product categories to the QC processes
This area of the department continues to grow from the different regions that will be set up in QC processes and structures to onboarding new manufacturers
Clear pathway for promotion based on performance and aptitude in the role
Travel is going to be part of the role in the mid-long term (manufacturers locations and also our different warehouse locations)
