Job Description
- Conducting quality control checks on incoming garments.
- Providing technical support to the design and buying teams.
- Working with suppliers to ensure products are made to specification.
- Ensuring garment fit and quality meets company standards.
- Proactively identifying potential production problems.
- Providing clear and detailed feedback to suppliers.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry standards and regulations.
- Participating in fit sessions and providing constructive feedback.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Garment Technologist should have:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the retail industry.
- Excellent knowledge of garment construction and fit.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for quality.
