About You
- Ideally you'll have a relevant degree in textiles AND a minimum of 12 months experience of working with garments/clothing/apparel. Workwear would be highly advantageous!
- Knowledge / experience of garments / clothing is key.
- You should have had some exposure to sustainability or have a passion for this area.
- Experience in sample management and materials testing / trials is essential.
- An analytical mind is helpful when it comes to research and reporting.
About The Job
- You'll join as a Garment Technologist and will work in support of the R&D Expert.
- Together you'll work to create innovative solutions for a number of technical products, looking specifically at reducing the company's carbon footprint.
- It will be your responbibility to research and report on new technical, innovative and sustainable trends.
- You will need clear and concise communication skills so as to maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and various internal stakeholders.
- You'll organise testing and trials of new / exisiting products and analyse results before accurately reporting on your findings.
