Salary: Negotiable plus van and fuel card

The Company:

Build Recruitment are working with a property maintenance group to recruit an experienced Gas Engineer to work across a domestic and commercial contract.

This role is offered on a permanent basis with a company van and fuel card, plus the opportunity to earn extra via the on call rota.

You will be providing a domestic gas service including repairs, maintenance, breakdowns and servicing across a range of settings including care homes, hospitals and supported living accommodation.

This role will suit an experienced Gas Engineer, ideally qualified in both commercial and domestic gas, but my client will be happy to assist with gaining commercial qualifications.

Ideal candidates will be based in Cornwall and will be expected to cover all of Cornwall.

Main responsibilities:

Gas repairs, servicing and breakdowns.

Working in void or occupied properties, commercial and domestic settings.

You will be familiar with routine preventative maintenance and reactive works and be able to manage your own workload and work to deadlines.

Requirements (Skills & Qualifications):

• Full driving licence
• You will hold a qualification in the relevant trade to NVQ (or equivalent) level 2 or higher along with holding the following ACS elements, CCN1, HTR1, CEN1, WAT1, MET1, CKR1 and CPA1, fires and unvented
• Able to work on your own and as part of a team

This role will require a basic DBS check.
