SalaryWe are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Salford, who are recruiting for a Gas Engineer on a permanent basis.
The position is due to start as soon as a basic DBS is processed. The salary is £38,000, with over time pay, a van and a fuel card.
The ideal candidate will have to have the relevant Gas Safe Qualifications, domestic experience and experience working within tenanted properties.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Servicing, diagnosing and repairing Landlord owned gas appliances
- Completing certifications in line with gas safety regulations
- Reporting any faulty equipment not in line with gas safety regulations
- Ordering parts and materials and recording all daily work
- Reporting any potential repairs and safeguarding issues that you notice in the customers’ homes
Experience required:
- Experience required in Social Housing
- Experience working in tenanted properties
- Experience with servicing and breakdowns
Working hours:
- 39 Hours a week
- 08:00 – 16:30 Monday – Thursday
- 08:00 – 15:30 Friday
