Gas Engineer
Job Description
- Commissioning, servicing, and maintaining gas fired Combined Heat and Power (CHP) units and related components, heat pumps, electric boilers, heat interface units.
- Fault finding and surveying commercial heating installations and systems in a variety of sectors (hotels, schools, nursing homes).
- Communicating professionally and courteously with clients and delivering a first in class service.
- Generating accurate and timely site reports within the CRM system.
- Participating in manufacturer and in-house CPD training to achieve the industry recognised qualifications required to carry out the role to the highest standards.
- Adhering to Health and Safety regulations and working safely at all times.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- A good working knowledge of the combustion process and correct commissioning and set up (combustion analyser) of gas appliances and burners to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Experience of providing commercial gas and heating site support.
- A technical aptitude, with an interest in low carbon technologies.
- Current commercial gas ACS certificates and be registered with the Gas Safe Register
- COCN1 (core commercial natural gas safety) and CIGA1 (commercial gas fired heating appliances & equipment).
