of depots across London & the Southeast of England. They are looking for Gas Main Layers to join their team.
As a Gas Main layer you will be will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Gas Mains and pipelines. This role demands a skilled individual with technical expertise in gas systems and a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities:
- To report all accidents and near misses
- Lay and repair Gas Mains and pipelines in both urban and rural settings.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on Gas Mains to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Be available for emergency call-outs to repair leaks or damages to Gas Mains
- Required availability for possible on-call duty during evenings and weekends to address gas-related incidents.
You will need:
- Energy and Utility Skills Register (EUSR - SHEA Gas)
- NCO(2) Service/Main Layer (up to & including 355mm/2bar)
- UE2 & 3-5
- NRSWA Operative card
- CPCS
- SCO 1, 2 & 5 (Desirable)
