Gas Technical Manager

Exciting Opportunity for a skilled Gas Technical Manager to join a leading property maintenance Gas company at their Exeter office. This full-time, permanent position requires 40 hours per week, offering a competitive annual salary of £39,900, Company Vehicle/Allowance & Fuel Card, and outstanding benefits.

Key Responsibilities for the Technical Manager role:

• Oversees multi-disciplinary teams handling service, repair, and installations.
• Ensures effective and high-quality service, repair, and installation activities for domestic and non-domestic stock assets.
• Manages group service delivery contracts.
• Reports operational performance and profit and loss of gas service and repair to the Management Team.
• Assists with installation contracts in the North West area.
• Collaborates with the clients subsidiaries and external clients as needed.
• Integrates the delivery team and assists in its efficient operation through the senior management team.
• Manages Contract Supervisors, Field Teams, and Administration Teams.
• Maintains technical standards through Supervisors.
• Ensures supervision and control of all work carried out.
• Prepares valuations, agrees on variations, and handles billing for completed work.
• Monitors contracts effectively throughout the contract period.
• Contributes to the development of performance management.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Holds City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2, or equivalent in a technical/supervisory/management discipline.
• Possesses understanding of gas legislation.
• Holds a full driving license.
• Demonstrates technical skills and a high level of technical understanding.
• Brings experience in contract supervision.
• Exhibits relevant commercial acumen.
