Gc-Ms Test Engineer

An excellent role suited to a recent Physics/Chemistry graduate or early career Analyst to join a chromatography and mass spectrometry manufacturing company in Scotland!

You will join a new instrument production company on the outskirts of Edinburgh working with brand new analytical instruments.

In this position, you will test GC-MS systems and their associated software to ensure peak performance prior to shipping to the customer. You will maintain equipment, complete testing records and conform to company regulations.

This role is ideal for candidates who have a real interest in analytical instruments, how they work and how to troubleshoot common instrument issues.

To be considered for this role, you will have degree in Physics/Chemistry and/or with hands on experience with analytical techniques (ideally chromatography/mass spectrometry).

This is a unique opportunity to gain training from an instrument manufacturer and develop your analytical and engineering skillset with a view to develop a career in instrument manufacturing, research and development.
