About the role

The Greater Cambridge Partnership (GCP) is responsible for transforming Greater Cambridge through a City Deal aimed at unlocking the economic growth potential of the area over the coming decades and realising thousands of new jobs and homes.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Administration Manager within the GCP, working alongside the current Business Team. 

The Greater Cambridge Partnership offers completely flexible working arrangements which includes hybrid working, job share and part time or full-time agreements. Although the office for the Greater Cambridge Partnership will continue to be based in the city of Cambridge, we are flexible on location and working pattern, and actively encourage flexible working.

What will you be doing?

We are looking for someone who has a flexible approach, to deal with set deadlines and varying workloads, in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for supporting the senior management team, including their diary management, and for representing the service in a positive and professional manner. Further, you will also contribute to the effective running of the wider Team, by providing administrative, secretarial, and financial support as required. 

About you

The successful candidate will need to be highly organised and self-motivated.  You must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, combined with the ability to able to work on your own initiative, with a methodical approach to tasks.  You will need to prioritise workloads effectively, be a good team player, and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, with the ability to learn and understand the County Council processes and systems. You will also need a strong understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
