Gcse Science Tutor

We are looking for new Science Tutors to join our growing team of private tutors.

Our tutors deliver one-to-one lessons at pupils' homes and small group lessons in local schools. We are looking for tutors to teach science at GCSE and/or Biology, Chemistry or Physics at A level. You can decide which students you work with and at what level. With Tutor In you earn from £27.40 to £37.40 per hour and enjoy complete flexibility in your working hours. We are particularly looking for tutors with availability to provide lessons during the day at local schools.

We are a local tutoring agency based in Leeds, so our tutors know us personally and can rely on our support to help deliver the best lessons possible. Details about the role:

• Lessons usually take place at our pupils' homes or in local schools, so you will be expected to travel.
• You can select the areas you want to work in and what level you want to tutor (at GCSE and/or A level).
• Lessons are usually an hour long and take place on a weekly basis, but this depends on the requirements of individual pupils.

Requirements:

• You must be able to demonstrate strong subject knowledge. As a minimum you need to be a graduate with a relevant degree and a good A level in the subject you are looking to tutor.
• Excellent teaching and/or tutoring experience is required.
• You need to be able to drive and have access to a car in order to travel to pupils' homes.

Salary: £28.90-£38.90 per hour
