Gelato Production Assistant Job Description

This gelato making aspect of this role encompasses a diverse range of tasks, which can be categorised into four main areas: production, manufacturing, cleaning, and packaging.

In the production segment, the primary focus lies in transforming intermediary components into final products. Your responsibilities will include producing various types of gelato through meticulous mixing and adherence to recipes, along with the handling and operation of gelato-making machinery.

The manufacturing aspect revolves around converting raw ingredients into finished products, exemplified by the intricate process of crafting gelato. Furthermore, we take pride in a related branch of our services: wholesale. Your role will encompass the manufacturing and production of gelato products specifically for our wholesale customers. This involves packaging products and undertaking quality assurance tasks to ensure the highest standards.

Production is divided between two premises, situated in St. Andrews and Glenrothes, offering the opportunity to work in both locations.

In an environment demanding physical exertion, this role involves manual handling and the execution of repetitive tasks, especially during busy periods.
