Job Title: General Administrator (No Legal Experience Needed) Office Based: Uckfield , East Sussex Hours of work : Contractually 9:00 am to 5:30pm Salary: £21,000 rising to £22,000 after Probation period Job Summary: HRGO Recruitment are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our solicitors practice as a General Administrator. This position does not require any Legal Experience, as full training will be provided. The General Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the practice. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to the legal team, including managing correspondence, drafting and editing documents, and maintaining filing systems. Printing and forwarding emailed documentation, assist with client intake and on boarding processes, including scheduling appointments, collecting necessary information, and preparing client files. Manage the practice's calendar by scheduling meetings, court appearances, and other important events. Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and other inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate team members. Maintain and update the practice's database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date client information. Prepare and distribute invoices and track payments Perform general office duties and maintaining a clean and organised work space. Requirements: Experience in a similar administrative role, preferably in a professional services environment is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office Suite and other relevant software. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and work under pressure.
