General Assistant - Airline Catering - Manor Royal Crawley

What’s on offer:

• Rate of pay: £23,500 to £24,500
• Shift patterns available: 5 out 7 days, 2 days off ( Must be fully flexible across all 7 days)
• Location: Crawley, RH10 9JX

• Hours per week: 40 hours per week - The warehouse is a 24 hour operation
• Shift timings: Earliest start date 04:00am, Latest Finish 23:30pm (8 or 10 hour shifts)
• Weekly Pay
• Temp to Perm (performance based)

Key Duties:

• Working as a General Catering Assistant, you will support the operation in one of three departments:
• Our Hot and Cold Kitchen department to plate in-flight meals to a set menu, for both Economy and First-Class. All food is already prepared and you will plate the trays up against a set menu image either from a Ipad or Printed image.
• In Equipment, employees stock handle and packaged key items for our airline partners.
• Washing equipment from inflight meals, wash and clean dishes, cutlery from returning flights.
• Always maintain a safe and clean working environment at all times.

Requirements:

• Valid Passport or Driving Licence /Birth Certificate or National ID card
• UK Settled Status (If applicable)
• Proof of National Insurance
• Proof of (current) Address
• 5 Year Address History
• 5 Year Work Reference History
• Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic criminal record check following interview in line with CAA requirements.

PLEASE NOTE: As this position is in the aviation industry, successful applicants must be able to provide 5-year checkable history.
