Are you a General Manager or similar with a background working in Sports and Leisure Facilities looking for the opportunity to join a company that can offer training to develop your skills and knowledge and can offer free access to you and your family as well as a host of other benefits?
This company are one of the leading Skate and BMX parks in the UK, with indoor and outdoor facilities and are in a sustained growth period looking to add skilled staff to their workforce in time for the Easter Holidays and Summer which are their busiest times. As well as this they are in the process of getting grants approved for additional facilities to be added to the site. They are officially open 4 days a week from Thursday - Sunday, however are also open in the evenings on weekdays for after school clubs and other planned events.
In this role you will be responsible for the overall Co-Ordination of staff on site, acting as the point of authority for staff and customers, overseeing the general day-to-day as well as making sure the site is secure and safe for users and employees. You will be required to carry out daily briefing for staff before opening to the public, addressing issues or improvements but also making them aware of any clubs, groups or events that are planned for the day. It will also be your responsibility to track the accuracy of content being uploaded.
This role is suited to a General Facilities Manager with a background in Sports and Leisure environments looking for a role with lots of responsibility, training and a host of company benefits in a 30 hour a week position.
The Role:
* Take control of on site activities and staff
* Upkeep of Health and Safety and First Aid when necessary
* Organise Staff Training
* Report to the Operation manager
* Act as the point of Authority for staff and customers on site
* Monday - Wednesday 16:30 - 21:30 , Thursday - Sunday 11:30 - 21:30
The Person:
* Management Experience
* Sport or Leisure facilities background
* Strong Customer service skills
* Strong verbal and written communication
* Commutable to Corby
