General Gardener

Big Ant Group are currently seeking some Seasonal Gardeners for our client situated in Totnes.

This requirement will be to work across the South Hams area, working as part of a team to keep the Parks, Gardens, Streets and Roadsides tidy during the Spring and Summer months when greenery will be overgrowing.
We are looking for someone with experience with using machinery to carryout the following: grass cutting / weeding / hedge trimming etc. You will be required to use other tools such as rakes, hoes and pitchforks.

Candidates will be required to fulfil 37 hours of work per week, starting at 7am initially, moving onto 6am starts during the lighter periods.

Applicants must have good communication and team working skills as you will be required to follow instruction and work to daily goals. We are also looking for people with experience within a similar role who enjoy doing physical work and are happy to work in all weathers. As part of this position you will be required to drive a 3.5 tonne vehicle (the size of a long wheel based van)
