General Labourer

Handyman/Site Operative required to start April 2024
My client is looking for an experienced handyman/site operative to start a long term project in Inverness from April, only applicants who can provide evidence of previous similar roles and suitability for this critical site role will be considered. Details below.

Responsibilities:
Site Opening: Ensure the site is prepared and ready for the day's activities, including unlocking gates, checking access points, and ensuring safety measures are in place.
Generator Maintenance: Regularly inspect generators, monitor fuel levels, and refill as needed to ensure uninterrupted power supply on site. possess proficient knowledge of diesel-powered machinery, including starting procedures and basic troubleshooting to keep operations running smoothly.
Assist with Labour Duties: Support various construction tasks such as material handling, site cleanup, and assisting tradespeople as required.
Requirements:
CSCS Card: Valid CSCS card is mandatory to demonstrate competency and safety awareness in the construction industry.
Experience: Prior experience in site labour duties and familiarity with construction site operations preferred.
Reliability: Punctuality, commitment, and a strong work ethic are essential qualities for this role.
Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work effectively in outdoor environments.
Team Player: Capable of collaborating with colleagues and following instructions to ensure project goals are met efficiently.
