As a General Labourer and Escort, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Assisting with site setup, including temporary fencing and site cleaning.
- Supporting minor building works and demolitions.
- Transporting materials and equipment from our central compound to various sites on base.
- Meeting delivery drivers and subcontractors at base entry gate.
- Obtaining temporary base access passes from base security forces.
- Escorting delivery drivers and subcontractors to relevant sites.
- Escorting individuals off base when required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in general labouring.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work occasional weekends and overtime as required.
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Must be eligible to obtain a high-level security clearance and pass standard DBS requirements.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to undergo a base driving test.
- Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments and schedules.
