We have an exciting opportunity to join our client's team in the Whitstable area as a General Maintenance Operative. In this role you will be required to support the facilities and maintenance Manager in the completion of regular and ad-hoc tasks designed to support the safe maintenance and development of the facility.
Hours:
37.5 hours per week.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Weekly & monthly inspections on all identified systems on inspection sheets
- Report any failures to the Facilities and Maintenance Manager.
- Maintenance, testing and adjustments to installations and systems in compliance with written instructions and documented maintaining records.
- Where appropriate building repairs to be completed from the agreed work instruction.
- Assist with location of new equipment to be installed and relocation of existing equipment throughout the site, including the loading and transport of equipment.
- Assist with Machine Shop materials movement for production requirements schedule, as required on ad-hoc basis.
- Ensure workshop and materials are keep in accordance to site requirements. Managing adequate spares stores.
- Implementing preventative and corrective actions in accordance with business priorities.
