We are currently on search for a General Maintenance Operative to join our Client's team on a temporary basis to undergo PPM and Reactive maintenance on a commercial property. The role will consist of working 2 full working days a week or 4 hours for 4 days per week. You will be responsible for the General Maintenance of the electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems.
The successful candidate will have prior experience in Building Maintenance, have great communication skills, the ability to work well as part of a team and individually.
Duties:
PPM and Reactive Maintenance
Changing filters on air conditioning systems
Changing light bulbs and ensuring other fixtures and fittings are in good working order
Rewiring, changing fuses, junction boxes etc.
Emergency Lighting
Fire Alarms
Carpentry
Painting and decorating
Carpet, Tiles
Doors, Locks
General Fabric works
Plumbing
Requirements:
Prior experience in Building Maintenance - Essential
Client facing
Reality to undergo Maintenance duties efficiently
Salary and Benefits:
£30,000 - £34,000 per annum
Schedule of 2 full working days per week or 4 days a week (4 hour shift)
Exposure to a growing FM company
Overtime readily available
Potential to have contract extended on a permanent basis
