Hall & Woodhouse is the Dorset based brewer that owns over 170 high end pub restaurants and inns throughout the South of England. We are recruiting a General Manager to lead our fabulous team in an amazing hotel\pub business at the heart of Lyme Regis.
Acquired by Hall & Woodhouse in February 2022, the Royal Lion is a beautiful Coaching Inn dating from 1601, a remarkable hidden gem within 100 yards of the fabulous beach at Lyme Regis. Situated in a bustling street it's the perfect base for tourists exploring the stunning Jurassic coast, and for locals to relax and enjoy great food and drink couched in warm Hall & Woodhouse hospitality. The hotel offers a full range of guest facilities for short breaks or events with options for relaxed and more formal dining; with 33 individually styled rooms and indoor pool any stay at the Royal Lion is truly memorable.

- Able to lead and inspire a team within a demanding complex F&B operation
- An expert with a comprehensive knowledge of quality food and drink, with an eye for detail
- Experienced in managing guest accommodation sales and the extra challenges of highly seasonal trade
- A strategic thinker with a proven record of business development within a branded context
- Diligent about ensuring that routine procedures are followed
- Well presented with good awareness and an analytical approach to problem solving
- Able to commit to work closely with Op's management in developing the business and its team to their full potential
- Determined to develop and maintain outstanding hospitality for our guests
- A great host who gets a buzz from making people's day
- Able to manage the commute as this is a live out position
