We are looking for a community focused General Manager at the Pump House in Swansea! Salary up to £45k plus bonus and a generous benefits package.
Marston’s is one of the UK’s largest and most beloved pub chains and today, we operate more than 1,300 pubs, bars and hotels. Now, we’re on the lookout for a great General Manager to take charge at the Pump House in Swansea and lead the team to success!

About the pub
The Pump House is a fantastic two level site, set between the sandy beach of Swansea Bay and the vibrant City Centre. With a modern industrial décor in the ground floor and the second floor has a great open grill feature and is set out perfectly for a relaxing drink or meal with more than 180 covers in total .When the sun shines you can sit outside in our large outdoor seating area 120 and watch the world go by. The pump hose is in a great location, a couple of minutes’ walk from the indoor arena, with numerous live events- with opportunity to increase sales. There is also parking on site to for up to 25 cars .
The Pump house is currently averaging £31k a week in sales, with a 60/40 food to wet sales mix.
The right candidate will have experience as a General Manager within a busy and fast paced restaurant/pub environment. Be able to lead the business effectively, meeting if not exceeding financial targets set. The successful candidate will have the ability to oversee sales growth, labour productivity, cost control and effective purchasing. With a proven track record of confidently leading and motivating a team to deliver a great guest experience.
