General Manager

BelaRecruitmentis hiring a permanent GeneralManager to support a business owner in Omagh,Co.Tyrone, Northern Ireland.

This is a very unique role, to join a business with around15 staff who are super successful in their sector and have been trading forover 30 years.
In the time they have built a loyal network of customersacross the UK, Ireland and around the globe thanks to their high-qualityproducts, and attention to detail, and remain the leaders in this sector.
As General Manager, you will support the owner with alldaily operations and ensure smooth integration between 3 main functions, Sales,Operations and Finance.

Responsibilities
· Help integrate the Sales –Operations and Finance teams, ensuring each team & staff member knows theirfunctions and can deliver on project quality and timescales.
· Understand & drive dailyoperations, planning current and future projects, quickly finding solutions toissues, and holding people accountable for working standards.
· The business is always kept busygiven the demand for their services, as such, you will need excellentorganisation skills, planning and monitoring ability, strong leadership skillsand commercial awareness.
· Understand upcoming projects,delegate tasks & timescales for each aspect of the project and work withthe owner to ensure excellent service is always provided to clients.
· A key aspect of this job isensuring the 3 major functions, sales, operations & finance, work positively, have highly effective communication, projects are planned correctly,solutions are found quickly, and the teams become smarter for the next projectahead.
· Support will be provided to anynew person to learn the business and processes from both the owner and seniormanagement team.

Requirements
· Ideally min of 3-4 years ofBusiness Management experience at a senior level, this can be gained from owningyour own company or running a successful business for someone else in the past. We might also consider very driven peoplewith experience in Production Management, Production Planning, or Supply Chain,Project Management or Operational Management.
· Strong people management skills,commercial awareness, and the ability to integrate teams & people.
· Strong project managementskills, ability to plan for future works, manage daily projects and ensuresmooth delivery of products & services to clients.
· Strong IT & CommunicationSkills, leadership skills, also willingness to learn new equipment andprocesses in manufacturing.
· Ideally live within 45 minutes ofOmagh.

This is not a typical General Manager-type job with crazyworking hours or expectations.
The business & owner operate set business hours andas GM you should have a pretty standard working week, with an excellentwork/life balance.
